Best Amplifier Choice?

I have two kicker 11S15L34's and i was wondering what would be the best amp i could buy for around $250. I am a bit of a rookie and i would really love some advice.

Do you want to run the set @ 1 ohm or 4 ohm final impedance? This will make a huge difference in the amps you should be looking at...

this ^^^^^ also is size of the amp an issue ? ie where its mounted

rockford 601s should do 800 at 4 100 plus ship otherwise what they have said will work.

Size is not an issue as the subwoofers are in my trunk, I would prefer running them at 1ohm but if you guys can show me some amps that would better suit them running at 4ohms i am open to ideas.

OK, if I was you I would try to find a used Sundown SAZ-1000D, or a Used Digital Designs CM1000 amp, Either of which are very good amps, & both will push 1k @ 1 ohm... I wouldn't overpower those kickers by going over 1000 watts rms @ 1 ohm if you want them to last at all.... Just my .02

Definitely solid advice thanks. However if i wanted to buy new equipment what route would i want to go? I'm weird when it comes to used electronics.

Buy an amp that does more power then the subs require. That way you don't have to have your gains so high.
