Best amp tuning song?

I have set my gain with a DMM and now I am looking for the best song to tune an amp to. I have tried in the past, but the problem I always run into is that on low hitting songs it sounds real good, but then the higher frequencies sound like crap, then when I try to tune it to the higher frequencies, the lows sound like they are bottoming out, or just over exerting the sub... any recommendations? Thanks.

If the highs aren't coming through like you would like them to, adjust the low pass filter and the low pass filter only. If the sub seems like it's bottoming out, raise your subsonic filter a bit.

hm i have this problem as well. it may be in my box tho. low sounds good but the higher notes sound like shizz. think ill adjust my low pass filter when i get home

oh yea...... idk what kind of phone you have but if you have a droid. go to you market and download "wave generator demo"... yes its a demo but will alow you to play a tone for whatever freq you want from 1hz - 9999hz. you will need a 50hz tone to set with dmm if im not mistaking. this should be useful. also good for burping what ever freq you need for spl

I actually just downloaded Kangaroux's 50 - 3db tuning song and put it on my iphone and played it through USB, only thing I hate about that is that I think that my cd's have better quality.

Okay I went and tuned the amp with a higher song with the HU around 27 out of 35, and it sounded pretty good, tuned a lower frequency song at around 25 out of 35 and it sounds like it still may be having too much excursion, I know that the DD9512 can flex some, but how do I know when is too much? I am not hearing a pop that I know of, but that don't mean its not there.
