best amp for power???

i have 2 12" cerwin vega strokers (both dual voice coil) and i have an MTX thunder 1000D amplifier running them. They are loud as heck but i need a better amp. This amp doesn't seem to cut it. I have had problems with amp spikes and i also heard that it got recalled. Now i am looking for a amp that could push the 2 12" strokers and fully utilize their sound. Money is not a primary issue but i would prefer an amp that gives me more thump for my buck. If anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it.

Have you tried running just one stroker on the amp ? I would either get another of the same amp. And run each on it's own amp. Or buy a couple jbl 1200.1's and run one off of each. Seriously look into the ORion XTRPRO 2400 im not talkin out my ***. It would be a great amp for the strokers.
