im not sure, but i just got my bar of 2024-t3, its supposed to be an alloy with copper, so i went with that, im gonna be making some buss bars out of it
I used to work for an aluminum company, and our customers used the 6xxx series alloys. I don't the 2xxx series is particularly useful, but a better route would be to make sure the buss bars are silvered. As a electoplate to apply a 70-30 Cu-Sn, then Ag on top of the brass. That should work.
Silver,anywayz I work at a fab shop and was flippin thru a magazine one day at lunch and what do u know there is a "Hybrid" plastic material that is conductive as silver/copper pending on size.
