best 8" for sub duty.

I can't fit anything larger that 8"s in my truck, but I can fit two of them. So I am wondering which ones I should go with. I have up to 5" of depth and have about 1000w to split between them at 2 or 1 ohm. They will not be infinite baffle, and can have up to .8cu each.

I was thinking the Kicker L7s since a square sub will give me more surface area, but maybe there is something else out there I should look at? I want as much bass as I can get with out it getting too sloppy. I usually prefer a sealed enclosure, but if the situation demands it I can port, but still can't go over .8cu.

He only has 5 inches of depth...
Not sure of how deep the kicker are, but if they fit, i heard the L5s sound really good even sealed, you can give those a try...

The AA assassins are a little deeper than 5 inches, but they are killer subs as well...just have to find them used...

The Tang Bands on parts express are under 5 inches, as well as the Dayton Quatro...for these options you dont need that much power though...
