Best 8" for Sealed about 0.3 cu ft. ~400-500rms

Sorry, I know there are a lot of "What is the best 8"" threads, but I have read them all and not really found specifically what I am asking. I have 2 Eclipse XA1000 amps, that do around 500RMS each at 2 ohms. I am buying a C6 Corvette that has 2 small cubbys in the back that can be converted into sub boxes. They are very small and must be sealed. I want to make the install as stealth as possible, so something small.

I have seen people use weaker 8's that only do 100-200 w, but I want to get one or two to use my amps. I may just get 2 weaker and use one amp, but i want to try to get 2 and use both amps.

What is the best 8 that i can put on one of those amps that will fit in those tiny specs?

id look at some e8's or maybe DD

The Orphan 8's, some Audiopulse/TC Sounds or the regular Ascendants (if you can find them), e8's should hang, old ED e8A's (flat cone), and possibly the Treo SSi- though I know of no one who has actually heard one.

I dont care what anyone says e8's will not take 500rms mechanically. Mine would get sloppy and bottom out sealed with 3-400rms

Thats what I was thinking, although Ive read nothing but good things about them, and they are affordable. i can always get two and put them on one amp.

well, i am not quite ready to buy yet, just planning things out.

i have read that the 1508s need to be ported. so unless you think the 1508Ts can be sealed in a small box, that would be cool.

bump. bought the Corvette in March...needs a system. looking for buy now. still haven't decided. Id prefer just one sub. i am going to build a box sometime soon and see if I can squeeze a 10 in there. the inside volume is actually a lot closer to .75 cu ft or so.
