best 8 for SPL in small sealed enclosure

hey i plan to have 4 8's behind my seat with little space... around .5.. i have heard dd 1508 are awesome but dont do well in small sealed enclosures... then heard the sa audio was great... what do yall think??

how much space do you have? and i would rather do 3 8s ported than 4 8s sealed

well he didnt make sense because he said he wants to do 4 8s but he said he .5 of space...so im guessing .5 for each sub?

Wedge boxes take up SO much less of your useable trunk space than a regular rectangular prism... They're more difficult to construct but it's worth it. Makes it doable for me.

port firing to the side is almost the only way to do a wedge ported box, but I'd do that before the 4 sa-8's

I have 4 10's that like .5 sealed and would be perfect ...they are 4.75 mounting depth

its a 99 silverado... behind the seat there is 7 inches and a cutsheet would be awesome! thanks again for everyones input.. what about 4 dd 1508 in a ported wedge box ?

Your not gonna get very loud in any small sealed enclousure..You may make it sound decent ...but with that space try ported 2 DD 1508s...each in 1cu fy plus port setup right that will get loud and hit low...better than any 2 12's 10's or 4 8's sealed

I take my Wrangler to a lot of shows around Shreveport it has 4 DD 10's in it...you may of heard it if you were at import face off it street beated a 157.9 average.it does 154's on outlaw spl
