Best 600 rms sub

I currently run 2 12" alpine type r's off a hifonics brutus 1200.1 amp in my 2003 camry that I removed from my old 96 camry. In my 96 camry they sounded super loud and clear. In the 2003, this same setup is still very clean (I have sound deadener in both cars, and fixed most of the rattles) , but lacks the loudness That I have been accustomed to. In the old Toyota with this same setup my girlfriend said she could hear me before she could see me. This is no longer the case. I wish to continue using the same amp. My question is what 600rms sub, would you recommend for me in my situation? I need something that can play loud and deep!

WONDER IF BOTH THOSE CAMRY'S HAVE THE same alternators...? @Prince3mo ; @Why So Cereal\? ;

you do the big three or any other electrical upgrades?

I'd suggest sundown SA's for a 600 rms sub.

a lot of times the new cars ar designed better to keep sounds out of the main cabin. just changing the subs from one 12 to another 12 with the same amp is not going to yield any gains. either you have to add power or add cone area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

what deck are you using etc //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yep, well 15's would make it louder alone as long as you have enough room to fit 15's with the proper box. thats also an issue. most pre-fab boxes are 2 small and choke the sub

I agree with you! to me 15's in a proper box take up too much of my trunk space. This is my daily driver. I need it to still be functional. I was trying to keep my same amp just to save some money.
