Best 6 1/2's that will fit

I bought the Infinity Kappa 63.5i speakers for my 2001 Honda Civic Sedan and they were too big. I am more worried about performance than price. Any suggestions on what kickass speakers would fit?

It was circuit city...They said that it was just too deep. And even spacers ect would not work....

Yeah theres your problem

Instead of going to circut city

go to a lumberyard

get a couple small peices of MDF

GET A SAW

cut some circles

put the driver in

so before spending more money on a different driver

see if you can get thhese work

Ay ... I bought infinity kappa 6x9 three ways ... they didn't fit. Know what I did? I cut the metal in the rear deck so they WOULD fit. THEN ... the trunk stablizer was in the way ... so I cut a part of that out with a reciprocating saw. Now the 6x9's fit like pro's. I'm bout to get 4 kappa tweeters and put them on the 4 corners of the ceiling. Then ... amp the 4 tweeters, 2 6x9's, and two 5 1/4's to 800 watts. this is complimented by a 15' MTX Thunder ... with 350w.

See? That's the hassle I'm tryin to avoid. I just want to find a sweet 6 1/2 door speaker that will fit right in. The guys at Ultimate Electronics suggested Boston Acoustics....

Do some work on your car rather than watch people do it for you. Get your hands dirty. Try participating. It's not a hassle. It's a learning experience that makes the outcome MUCH more enjoyable and worthwhile.
