Best 5x7/6x8 Components?

For x-mas i want to get some components for up front in my 03 reg. cab F-150. I'm not going to even worry about the back b/c in something that small i think components in the door on an amp will be plenty loud. Just looking for the best components for under about $120 bucks or so. Dont need some amazing stuff just good enough stuff to sound really good and get the job done! Thanks guys

I put a set of Infinity reference series in my 92 F150. I don't remember the model but I think they were 5x7s. They sounded very nice and were not too pricey. I did nothing but install them - no door dampening or any other treatment. I did have to figure out how to mount the tweeter and crossover but it was not a problem there is plenty of room on the door. Don't go for the kappa's IMHO they sound harsh - I bought a set of kappas for my current truck and am not happy with them even after door dampening etc...

try to find a way to fix 6.5 and a tweeter. if not get a set of coaxials.

get 6.5 components..

if not audiobahn makes a plate woofer with a 4 inch woofer and a 1.5 inch tweeter, i know nobody likes audiobahn, but they are the best 5x7 i have heard.. but it is better to get 6.5, ford is not the best car to go with for sound.. and you'll notice mroe and more as you get more into car audio.
