Find something with a low QTS and a high sensitivity and it should perform decently well for what you've got.
You could use a little more power on the amp, but hey, check out my youtube video. This amp was all I had and it does 380W rms @ 4 ohms bridged but my subs were 4 ohm each so each sub is only seeing realistically a little over 100w RMS and in my opinion, they slam. Beats the shit out of my car. It's all in the box you build for it. Usually those pre-fab boxes aren't the best sounding, especially not the ported ones.
I'm not a kicker fan-boy, but for the price, these kicker comps have served me so well. I picked them up for 55 bucks each so you can't really beat that. I then stuck them in a pre-fab sealed box I had and they sounded great. Then I began learning how to build ported enclosures and built a good one to spec of my subs and power I have on tap, and they sound awesome. Those JL W0's are pretty similar, a little more expensive for the JL name brand though. I'm not sure if
sonicelectronix is still running that deal, but they had this deal going where you buy 1 kicker comp get one free. So they had them listed for a slightly higher than normal price, but when you click buy, it adds another to the shopping cart for free. Great deal...
