best 2k amp

So I'm looking at any suggestions for two 2k amps that would be ran at .5 each and gained matched. This should produce better results than running a single 4k at .5 correct? power limit for the class I wanna run is 4k unclamped. cheaper the better being most 2k amps will yield the same results. also while here sub suggestions. I want to run two 12s in a trunk wall in this class. so each sub on a 2k amp @ .5. Goal is a 150 at 32hz. peak currently is 34 outlaw and 36 sealed. I know this will change with new and subs just give a general idea. also max box size is about 5 cubic internal after displacement. The smaller the better due to me able using an external port and sub box further back and seems to work best in my car. Right now dss primos seem like best option being with this power a 3 cubic box would be optimal.

Actually a single amp may have an edge on damping factor all things being equal. I do like running smaller amps though since they tend to be more reliable and if you get two under-rated 2k amps you may have more real world power than one under-rated 4K.

PowerBass used to make a nice under-rated 2K and the old SAZ2K and DC PAI2000 (these are quite rare) is a beast at .5 ohm.

Does your org use 12V rated power or 14V rated power? DD has one in that neighborhood... their amps are hard to beat for SPL competition purposes and are pretty resilient to low impedance and voltage drops.

it is for ispll org. I though saz 2k were 16volt monster more so then 12 volt? And I think it is the 12v rating.

Sorry was just trying to help you out. If you are trying to compete the CT Sounds AT series would be good because they are rated at 12.8v not 14.4v like most companies so at 14.4v you will see around 1400w at 2 ohms out of the AT-1400.1 so imagine what you would see at a lower ohm load. Can't forget that if you are wired at .5 ohms that after box rise you will be at 1-2 ohms.

Check out this Amp Dyno test of the 1400.1

A while back I used the DC PAI2000 (same board as the older SAZ2K) and I was down less than 1.0dB from my number with the SAZ3000.1 It was a beast little 2K and hung really well with .5 ohm nominal (though a little hungry on the charging system). IIRC I measured close to 2800W out of mine.

Would also vouch for Stetsom 4K2D. If you can do half ohm you can do 2 ohm, right? Mine put in work and it was a tiny footprint. Dunno where you could find one though, but don't rule it out, I really liked it and beat the tar out of it without any trouble.

Can you do 4 1K amps strapping 2 per sub?

Yeah I should be able to. Would that be beneficial?
Assuming you're in a trunk, space may be a premium so Brazilian is worth a look for small footprint anyway. Generally those Korean amps get very inefficient at low impedance too so you may have an easier time with voltage. You'll need to be careful of what ratings manufacturers claim for rating and how that fits into your org though.

My current electrical isn't bad. 300 amp alt stinger Agm up front and juice box cherry in the back with 4 runs of zero gauge. And I could probably stack two amps in spare tire well and 1 on each side of the box. I'm mainly just trying to get that most power since it is unclamps.vut the ratings on my amps can't go over 4K. So a single Brazilian ain't one wouldn't be to effective being I can't wire below what's it rated for.

Id get a brazillian 4k over a korean 2k anyday. Sound will be better, louder without even needing to wire low, better on voltages. The korean 2k only matches up if its an underatted as fk 2k like the new IA 20.1 and you wire half ohm or lower. By the. Its unstable, inefficient current hogs and its not any louder than the brazillian anyways.

Im actually gonna swap out my tfe for a taramps bass 12k. Try a brazillian and youll completely change your minds about how this whole wiring low crap with koreans go.

What good brilizan 4K are there out there?
