best 2000d?

on the PA 3000, how many and what type of fuses are on the amp.

dont get me wrong, im not trashing pa/soundstream,they are solid and wwaannggg, im just not havin good luck with them anymore. its a comfort/peace-of-mind thing at this point.

thing about memphis is there is no online authorized dealers. you might find some cheap prices here and there, but you sacrifice the warranty.

our shop sells the amps like this...

mc1000d=$550

mc1500d=$800 (iirc, i'll check and update this one)

mc2500=$1200

mc4kw=$1700

everyone of ours comes with a 4 year warranty. but again, this isn't the cheapest way to go as there is no online retailers. but it'll at least give you an idea of what they go for in shops.

btw, we have a 2500 in stock as well as a kicker zx1500. the zx will run you about the same price IIRC, has a two year warranty and is 2 ohm stable vs 1ohm for the memphis stuff (except the mc1500d, which is 2ohm as well)

Have you tried looking into the Crossfire 2000d? I used to have one in my old xB with 4 10" USD subs and it freakin' knocked hard!

I'll sell ya my Lightning Audio X1.2000.1D for $350. It's a great amp, does rated power, and I've never had a problem with it.

im just lookin around to see whats out there at this point..i still have to send my amp off for repair. last time they swapped it out the day it got there, and kept "forgetting" to ship it out for 5 weeks straight.

so im just lookin into different companies and whatnot, so i can make an informed decision. its not gunna be anyhting today by any means

how about a us amps older 2000 or 2000x, i forget which one is 1 ohm stable, they are a bit on the high side but they will def give you the power you want

I also dont know too much about the sundownz stuff but what about their 1500d? heard that is a strong amp, just an idea, not sure if it will work for you though

yep. if installed by us, otherwise it's the factory mentioned warranty, IIRC, of two years.

what about an orion 2500d (i guess it would be the 5000d now that they've gone to peak numbers on teh case). i love my 2500d, a powerhouse to be sure.

You said you were looking toward hifonics, I would honestly stick with that over memphis (personal experience reasons).

But, over hifonics I would choose autotek anyday.

I have an autotek mm1400.1d

This is the sickest amplifier I have ever owned

I believe that the 1400 watts RMS is an under exaggeration, this thing definitely is pushing out a lot more than what it's rated

better yet, it does NOT heat up

also if it ever for some reason does heat up, at a certain temp it shuts off

it's a super D class amp, of very high quality

autotek is made by the same company as hifonics along with mbquart and crunch, and most believe autotek is the highest end of them all

I've owned several autoteks in my life and they have always proven strong and reliable

very hard to break etc.

On ebay the 1400 goes for like 280 I think

i got a soundstream 3000d last week and i haven't had any problems it is a bad azz amp, it pounds, it pound so hard that it makes my teeth rattle. good luck.

3000d? do you mean 2000d or 3500d? b/c they dont make a 3000d?
