well..im not having any luck with soundstream anymore. blew up another one last night, even after i triple checked everything and took every procaution. not even beating on it, at steady volume (not even cranked), they just go POP, and my cab fills up with smoke. i have a good hookup through a friend so whenever i send mine in for repair they just switch me out with a brand new amp.

so after i get the new amp shipped back im selling it. so it'll be BNIB

but i need another 2000d.

what are good ones out there? ive been considering hifonics..hercules series i think it is?

i dont want to run lanzar..rf maybe if i found a good price.

what other companies make a solid RELIABLE 2000d?

Memphis MCD2500. Dont know about the price. I have the MCD1000 and havent had a single problem.

Had to send in a memphis A/B amp cause it was getting hot and cutting out. They sent it right back with all new guts only took like 1 or 1 1/2 weeks to get it back. I thought it was fairly quick.

i think id have to drop down to 1500w..if i go up to 2500 im gunna have to do some mad electrical upgrades, along with ditch my subs im beatin on them pretty good at 2k as it is

I just bought the Memphis MCD1000. I was looking at getting a Crossfire VR1000D, but after I heard it in a truck that had 4 of them hooked up to two crossfire XT's 12's, I knew I needed the Memphis. The dealer had a old M class 1000 on two low level memphis 12's, and it hit cleaner and deeper then crossfires best 12's. I'm not say that crossfire sucks, but the price of the Memphis 1000 is what got me.

those are the ones im looking for prices for..and i cant find them..

i want to keep my ssds..they are so awesome. but ive been thinkin about switchin around my system.

whatever amp i go with, it has to be 1 ohm stable

yeah im lookin on ebay and whatnot, i think for my price range id have to steer clear of memphis..or drop down to runnin 1100 watts..
