DD 9512 for single sub in that price range. I ran one in trunk of Grand Prix and hit 145+ with only 2 k watts and low tuned box 35hz.

2 dd 2510's would be good and loud. port them at around 35hz or so and they will sound really good while still being loud.

Overhyped.

I've heard them and they sound about the same as my reconed Konakis.

They're not that good for the money. I would rather own aarghs.
