My 18's don't play low, they play loud. Really I get better low tuning when I build 12's.

If OP plans to use 7K to a pair I'd highy reccomend 4" coil.

Tantric 4" coil looks pretty beast too, heard good things from reliable sources about that one.

Guy on my team runs 2 lvl5's on an NS1 at 1ohm daily and .25 for burps and sometimes on music. They do get stinky after a while, but he abuses the crap out of them.

Also consider the HDC4 and Crossfire v2 if looking at 4" coil subs...
