best 15 for my needs..

I'd go HDC315, as I ran a single HD in that exact size box @ 35Hz with 1750watts and it sounded good and got very loud/low for a single sub. And it'll take more power if you decide to upgrade your amp...

as you can see by the many different answers, the choice is really up to you. there are many subs out there that can take the power you have and would like the box size you say you have to use.

the best thing for you to do may be to try to find some cars with the subs mentioned and see how they sound. a shop may display a sub but you really cant get a good idea how it will sound in a car unless you hear it IN a car.
