mtx blue thunder 10in

i got 2 blue thunder 10s i am looking for the best way to hook them up for the best sound i am useing an mtx thunder amp
Well it's going to sound the same no matter how you "hook them up".

So just connect it correctly and bump away.

If you need specific help on how to hook it up correctly, post away //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

blue thunders came as single 4 ohm and single 8 ohm only

awesome subs i used to have many of them. i still have a never played 15 somewhere around here...

the old thunder amps are safe at 4 ohm mono or 2 ohm sterero. if you happen to have the single 8 ohm you can wire them together in the "bridged" mode. if they are the single 4 ohm youll have to wire it one per channel to make the amp play right.

the thunder EQ nob on the amp boosts the low end, but it will also overdrive the subs if you cant hear distortion very well.

good luck with it
