I know you will get at least 12 difrent subs because it is all opinion. I am one of the few that will put a vote in for the Polk GNX. 2 for $160 good SQ and SPL

i like jl alot but after hearing the w7 ...why would i want to spend $$$$ when i can spend less on better woofers like adire brahmas and image dynamics idmax?

TDX or MacDaddy baby. TDX is louder, but MacDaddy has better SQ. They are both excellent at both though!

ok everyone is missing the basic 3 big daddies that everyone loves on here or at least names for pure cut throat SPL. the DD's or a Juggy or a Kove Armageddon. all three of those bad boys will pound like a mother ****er. and like always big audiolife supportin those idmax's and adire audio's both kick *** subs combining awesome SPL and SQ. blend of both world.

You can put any limitation or no limitation at all. My answer will always be the same. There is no best sub in any size. There are many different subs that shine in many different area's. 1. what kinda music u like - a 15inch ported Shocker will sound $hit if u are determiend to listen to rock music, something with a hard, quick beat, for example.

2. whats your budget

3. what you personally like - aftre all, it will be YOU who will be listening to the system most of the time

4. do you want to compete? if so, sq or spl?

Forgot to mention, definantly SQ. I like my music hi-fi, thank you very much...If I would go with the W7, would you reccommend 1 or 2 of them? I'd think 1 would be enough...the car is a BMW 325i (2 door)

imo the image dynamics and the adire brahma sound better and cost alot less while still giving you darn good low end. the jl is great at real low end but in true audiophile fashion doesnt give great upper bass frequencies so a realllllllly good midbass would be needed..............it is up to you to decide and 1 of any of these is great but 2 would be like 2 peices of really rich chocolate lol
