Best 12" w/ 600 watts??

I'm looking to put a 12" woofer in a sealed or ported (I don't know yet) box. I have a Rockford Fosgate P6001bd amp that does 600x1 RMS at 2 ohms. What is the best woofer for the money....looking more for sound quality. I had L7's and I want better sound quality.

RLP hands down for the money IMO, will do great with that power and sound good in sealed or ported for under 250.00, 12w6 will cost you a lot more than that, and Type R not my favorite for sound quality, but thats just me

The Type R will sound good ported. Sealed I have found that I not only dont like the sound, but it is lacking on frequency extention and output.

The W6 is a great choice. Works well sealed or ported. You cant go wrong with JL subs...but do you want to pay for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My vote goes for the RL-p.

Yes, I know they will take more but you don't have to give a sub all it is capable of for it to sound good. Same applies to the RL-p, I reckon.

On that power a T1 would work also.

RL-p over a P3 in a heart beat. But a toss up on the T1 and RL-p.

Well ****, I can get the T1 brand new for $200. I think I'm gonna put that in a 1.75 cu ft ported box.
