i know it hasnt come out yet and i know it is like a round l7. im looking more for the structural benefits of the round vs. square. ive hear good an bad about each but i want to get as many opinions as I can.

Maybe when he searched, all he found were dumbass replies like this that said search?If you do a search, chances are 70% + are going to be people saying "search, search!" and there may be one or two topics that are actually helpful.I find it easier to just help people.

Round like sealed boxes better then the square also has better sq. Squares subs louder then round subs.

ported, take the Sd advantage with the L7, smaller sealed, CVX, yet, the CVX can handle ported applications as well. But if you have say for example 3.0 cu ft per sub, do the L7....sealed the CVX will do better.

i have a 06 l7 15 its ported 5cuft. im running 800 watts to it and it sounds great but it depends on your music liking i like rap and r&b good low bass lots of spl i dont know what sq sounds like but as far as bass im knocking pictures off the walls

would the kicker 2500 be a good match for 2 15 cvx in a ported box? I realize this isn't the amp section but hell why not post it here. They say 1000 rms. I know the l7 can take quite a bit more than that.

yes, CVX is rated to handle the same power as the L7
