So I have a toyota single cab pickup truck with a truck wedge in it that fits a 12" sub and am looking the best sub i can possibly find that will fit in it. The box is ported and its dimensions are: 9"BD, 5.5" TD, 26"W, 14"H (roughly 1 cubit foot). the depth of the box is around 7-8 in. the size of the port is roughly: roughly 12" long and it is 6"W and 1.2" H.

If I can get some prefrences of a sub that is as 12" and has anything 7-8" or less in depth that would be amazing. Price range is not really an issue even though im looking for anything around $300.

If anyone thinks they have a better setup that will fit in my single cab truck please let me know. I am short so it allows for a surprising amount of space in the back where I have at one time fit 2 12" brutus hifonics subs and 2 8" MA audio subs at the same time in the back. So if you have some good 8" or 10" setups that make for some great bass and sound please post.

Currently in my single cab truck I am running the box as mentioned with a 12" Alpine Shallow mount and it hits good, but am looking for something that will make the doors fall off if possible. Thanks

prefab as in prefabricated? yes, some company made this box, it was not made by me. I do however have some skill in making boxes already, so IF needed I can make a whole new one for it.

that would be best... If thats all the space you have thats enough to port a Dayton HO 10 or a nice 8...

make a new box and port 1 Sundown sd10

you would likely have depth issues with the RE or JL. The Daytons mentioned above are viable options as Daytons are known to be pretty efficient drivers, they also play a nice range

Right now I have a power accoustic 2000 watt BAMF but im pretty sure thats overrated in watts. it likes to cut out if i turn the bass nob up. But luckily I have a JL slash 1000/1 sitting and waiting to be put to good use.
