Best 10'' Sub for single box

Well i need opinions. I have benn looking at the type R and Type X from Alpine.

What would be a good sub for a single box?

I have no power yet, i will be shopping for that next.

Also i want to keep the box small for the back end of my Grand Prix.

If you're shopping only for one of those two (X and R), I would recommend the X if you can power it, but I've heard the R's are able to hit pretty hard if in the right box. It's really give and take with the goal you want to accomplish with the new low-end you're going to purchase. You can get by with ported box that is 2.0ft^3 + port and driver displacement at 30-34Hz tuned for the R.
