Best 10" subs???

What are the best 10" subs you guys (gals) know of? Im lookin into buyin 3 10" subs or 4. I am thinkin of some DVCs (Dual Voic Coil). But I dunno just wanna know what you guys think is the best.

It's been said time and time again, regardless of what you're looking for (as far as general, being SQ, SPL etc) there is no definative "best". Your best bet is to listen to what sounds best to your ears and go by that, instead of others opinions, since they vary so greatly. It doesn't hurt to get opinions, but don't let them decide what sub you are going to buy. It would be a misfortune to buy subs based on others opinions that you find out don't suit your needs exactly.

i couldnt have really said it better myself, although some are better than others. if searc some of my more recent posts, then u'd see the makes im referring to. sorry for being sooooo lazy.

Yea I am not gonna buy subs based on your guys opinions hehe. Im not a total moron haha. I just wanted some feedback. Im thinkin about gettin 4 Xplod Sony XS-L1046s and 2 XM-1600GXD. 2 of those subs to each amp.

i recomend that you stay away from sony...they don't make very good car audio equipment.

thanks for the recommendation because i have looked up on it and currently i have 2 sony xplod 10s that are ok but one is messed up now for an unkown reason to me. i think imma go with jl audio. im stuck between fosgate, mtx, or jl. i just really dunno i want a good system and my moneys worth.

SQ= sound quality, SPL= sound pressure level, which is most important to you sounding really tight, gettin super loud or a mix? What kind of music do you listen to the most, how much are you willing to spend?

i listen to rock and rap but mostly rap. i want something that hits hard and clear. im gonna spend a good penny on this so. i spent $1,200 on my last system and ill go for higher than that

Go to custom autosounds on Franklin Road. They have a wide selection of subs. The prices aren't the greatest but at least you can hear them. couldnt have said it better......your never gonna get a good answer for best sub it depends on alot of things, sq or spl, size of box, type of box, type of music, type of vehicle, wheere in the vehicle its gonna go and even climate
