Best 10" shallow subs?

Hi, I have an 01 dodge ext cab and I have a box bought exactly to go under the backseat. It can fit 2 subs in there but I think its got to be shallows,

Wondering wich is best? I was thinking Alpines type r? 2 of em for 450$ on ebay sounds good no?

and Do I need a amp for this? if yes wich?

Dont want to spend 1000$..

if you can find them get a set of the MA Audio shallow 10's they were some of the best built shallow subs ever...they are built like tanks...i have one set left bnib but i'm not selling them right now..ive ran pioneer kicker...and RF...shallows they were no comparison...and i know a set of these i had sounded way better than my friends high dollar JL's

i prefer the jl and stereo integrity shallows first and not it dosent have to be shallows i just did an install on a 99 ram extended same truck. and id prefer a reg sub over any shallow any day just not going to give u what u want

450 i'd try the type r's not many ppl have used em yet. totally new slim sub spose to be *******. they've just came out a couple months ago. if you get them let us know how they're like. geta 1000-1500 rms amp to push em.

I have heard the JL slim and the memphis slim really surprised me. The shop that sold both said they sometimes have a heard time selling the JL's after people hear the Memphis and see the price. Everyone who has them swears by the SI BM but never heard them. It also doesnt look like anyone will ever be able to get them.

Look for the kole audio shallowmounts. It has an aluminum cone, a 200oz motor and weighs over 20lbs.

400rms and will take around 600 no problem
