Run the SL units in 2 cubic feet with damping in the box. *The BR can

be used in 1.5-1.8 cubes with your choice of box tuning. *I suggest

anything from 32Hz to 35Hz.

These the old or new? Supposed to be a new one out in July with 33mm, I think it was, xmax. I think now they are 22mm or something close.

OK thanks. No way to compare the numbers, just assuming these are the current ones since he is supposed to be still working on the new ones.

22mm is correct.
Thanks. Would love it if the new ones stay near the price of the current ones. A lot of his business is home theater sales, so no doubt they will be great hand built sq subs as well. Would like to get an 18 for less than $300 with high sensitivity and low 30s xmax. That would definitely be a good contender against the diycable maelstrom. Or some spl subs for that matter.

MJ18-M and IXL18 both great home theater subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif My girlfriend has the older 10" IXL in her car in .9 cubes tuned to 34hz. Sounds great. It was built for daily and compactness and it actually does ~137dB, no tweaking.
