bench pressing

careful with the proten, when you stop if you don't keep on lifting just as much and if you don't watch what you eat you will get fat fast and fall out of shape just as fast... Trust me, I did protein in 8th grade and when I stopped I fell out of shape so fast it wasn't even funny.

 
my goal is 180 by the end of the summer............lets double up on da protein...no for real though if u work out try whey protein that comes in a plastic jug at wal-mart.....increased my bench press aprox. 20 pounds in like 3 weeks.....yay to protein
i get all my protein from just regular food......mostly Chicken and fish....i dont eat much beef anymore....but i love beef the most....i miss it sooooo very much:crying:

Friend just got back from nationals for weight lifiting..... weighs 135 hes like 5'6, benches 310 (tied record for his class) squats 470, deadlifts 4 something but i would never **** with him :p me on the other hand... weigh 140 bench 160...

 
B/C I was young and stupid and wanted to cheat my way into being strong....
Man i hated Jr. High so bad!!!!!!!!

i am a very firm believer in natural bodybuilding.........i mean no protein suppliments nothing ....just 6 well rounded to a ratio of say 40% cards 30% protein and 30% fat........

I am doing stuff completly natural now, I lift only once evey other day. Manual labor makes up for the rest of my lifting...lol. Nothing better for building them mucsules then manual labor....lol

well i dont know canada and its people are werd in many way........j/k

but its true bench press has limited gain...because your shoulders drop (for most people) when u press heavy......dumbell press i a lot more effective and is my primary chest exercise......i only do the bench press 1 or 2 every 2- 3 weeks just to mix stuff up and to be able to answer the question ----how much do u bench? (which is the primary reason y most guys do it)

 
of course saying what you max is fun... but i tried incline dumbells for kicks and i was putting up 75s like it was nothing and not getting much from it. i tried 90 lb dumbells but the weight was physically too big for me to keep stable so i only got 2 up before i had to drop em. i like barbells because its easier to push more weight and get a good workout but dumbells are very important too.
