how do you like your EA alt? whats the lowest volts you see att full tilt?

I actually like it, it does it's job and I've noticed an increase in loudness (which may be because of my head unit replacement as well). I get about 14.2 volts max out of it at 2000 RPM+ and I've gotten it down to 11.5 at full tilt with AC and everything. I get low 12s at idle... I'm going to try and clean my car's IAC motor and see if I can improve things.
I was a little suspicious because of a whine, but either it's less noticeable or Nate was right when he said it will slowly go away. FedEx damaged in it shipping, the pulley was bent... Tom grinded it to almost normal and it hasn't been a problem.

If I get a hold of a clamp meter I will turn the system on at full tilt and run everything to see what I'm getting out of it... just not sure where I could find one without buying it.

I had to send mine back cause it was dropped during shipping too, I dont go under 12.5 at full tilt.

It should maintain near the same idle voltage during a load. So 150A Alt that idles at 14.4V should hold near or above 14V with 80A load. When you kick on an accessory you'll see a drop in voltage and it bounce back up and hold that voltage reading. This is what makes audio systems complicated, because the load (draw) is not constant, it comes in surges with the music creating large voltage fluctuations
