Denford RFX-8250 - equalization?

Curious of those who are running the Rockford Platinum 8250 - are most of you running it without equalization? What do your setups look like?

i don't have one but the only thing that HU has is bass, mid and treble? not quite sure. but if you are looking into running that HU, you should get some sort of processing.

I don't think anybody on this forum has an 8250Ti... nor have that many people even heard of it...

Personally, I'm a naturalist when it comes to my music, but you're DEFINITELY going to need some degree of equilization if you want to bring out the best in your music...

I'm running it without, adding some Kicker SX amps into the mix and possibly the new RF 360.2 processor at a later date.

Flat response in car audio without using an equalizer simply isn't happening.

Anyways.....I had the 8240 and ran it without any equalization.....and was running horns with it, no less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif For a daily listening system it sounded great without equalization. If I would have gotten serious with that system and really went for sonic accuracy, I would have needed equalization though.

It really depends on what your goals are. For just a nice sounding daily listening system, an EQ probably isn't needed. If you are really striving for sonic accuracy, it's a necessity.

i meant that i set the EQ to flat. i'm not picky about my sq, so i really never use an eq.
