Beer Taste

dead guy is very good, yet quite expensive at ~$12/6pk
Yeah, tell me about it. I have to pay $10 for one of those big bottles! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif If it wasn't so expensive, it would be my daily drinker...

i found that Guinness, although a good beer, is WAY over hyped. i was expecting an OUTSTANDING beer with a very good finish but i was not impressed.

i do favor darker beers from time to time. depends on the day i guess.

I used to drink Guiness...and there is a pub on 4th st in louisville that I go to to get 1/2 Bass and 1/2 Guiness...those get pricey to make at the house though. It just isn't that worth it to me.

Local bar has $2.50 newcastles and I drink several of them.

Yes please do your making a lot of sense and I want to know more about it all. Something about sitting at home listening to good music and drinking something good makes me happy.
Well, if you read through my last dribble, then great. I guess it all comes down to what types of beer you prefer - the cold crisp taste of Lager or the more fruity complex flavour of an Ale. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hell i've even been to Shiner, Texas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

We used to get it in kegs at Texas A&M //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I agree. Although I must give them credit. Guinness is arguably responsible for single-handedly keeping the Stout style alive through the years when all other companies moved away from it.

Me too, I went up there when they still had the Hall of Horns and had home made Root beer on tap. Stuff was heavenly lol

Haha. That brings back memories. I once made a Stout with vanilla bean and licorice - it ended up tasting more like Root Beer than Stout.
