I have been out of the audio game for awhile, and I just bought a new truck in November, and I am looking to put a sytem.. Here is my question:
If you guys were looking for an efficient system on a budget (2x12's) what amp, and subs would you go with? I am kind of biased on amps, (kicker) because I have had kicker amp's in my past two setups. I am not against not using a kicker amp if i found something that had similar performance, and a remote gain control like the kicker amps have. (I'm looking at a ZX1500.1 type amp)
The last pair of sub's that I had, were RE SE's pushed by a kicker kx1200.1, but the subs were made after US amps took over RE. I did enjoy those subs, but sold them when I sold the vehicle they were in.
This system would be run off the factory dodge HU for the time being, and these are the two boxes that I am looking at getting.
