I use to be into car audio huge in the 90's. Over the past couple months I have been building my system.

I have the old Autotek 7600 BTS amplifiers with these specs:

Output power at 11.5 to 14.4V:

2 x 300W @ 4 ohms (0.015% THD)

2 x 600W @ 2 ohms (0.15% THD)

1 x 600W @ 8 ohms bridged (0.015% THD)

1 x 900W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.15% THD)

1 x 1100W @ 4 ohms bridged (0.5% THD

I use to run 4-15" Savard woofers off one 7600. I believe they were single 4 ohm. What subs would you reccomend today to get the most out of this amp?I have a wagon so sub space is plenty. I want it LOUD .Thanks guys.

You need a good effecient sub, something like the TXX-APX, or FI Q, Atomic ELEs or APXs, RE SXs are not to bad either, but you want something that doesnt need a ton of power to get loud, and them are some good choices

I checked out the subs you guys stated. The FI's are quad 1 ohm speakers. That would be too low of imp for the amp I have wouldn't it?

And Audiopipe makes the TXX-APX correct? Sorry I don't know the models well either(lol)

and here comes all the jl haters. quiz any one of them and (1) they are just repeating what they heard someone else say. (2) they put 750 watts on a 300 watt sub and blew it and blame jl for rating the speaker correctly(3) they flame anything they cannot afford reguardless of what it is.

and no i do not run jl audio subwoofers

I've had 2 12w3 and i'll tell you that they **** for the price.

To the OP, just do a search on brands like FI, IA, Mach5 (my favorite company //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif), and maybe even SSA and you may just find the sub you need.

Edit: does mach5 still offer the m-series sub? those would do you good.
