i dont see a problem in dumping 3k on a sx

he doesnt have user error when it comes to the volume knob

he knows what he's doing

You dont want 3kw on an SX.

A colossus on 1 SX blew the inner dustcap off and made the coil get very toasty.

That was a burp as well.

I'm gonna have to have a chat with Manny, they are his old amps. He said they would work. I guess I'm just gonna have to go easy on them till I can get different subs.

I remember a while back, someone posted that they were pushing 1-12" sx with 1200w rms on one coil? I can't seem to find the vid.

that would be me chris and scott and Joel.......it took it, but it was going nucking futs the whole **** time.

HAHA, that was at our last meet. One coil was dead and we were trying to kill it before another member sent it in for a recone...that thing held up like a champ until the 110v socket burnt it alive

I would be afraid to give an SX more than 2kw. My teammates 15" SX got really stinky with a 2500d @ 1 ohm definitely putting out less than 2kw. MAYBE for a burp you could give it more than 2kw. But definitely not 3kw and most likely not at your peak frequency either.
