not reallywhen u think about it, when he burps he can dump a crap load of power into the subs,and play a specific frequency....he knows that he peaks at 40hz..so right now he has 4400watts on 40hz and doing low 150's
he dumps 12k on 40 hz theoretically he increase his spl score by more than 3db's

Theoretically double power increases 3db.... I'm tripling the power as well as adding a bank of modified Kinetick Monsters. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. i believe if u tripple the power theoretically u will gain 4.5 db's
x2, unless you have the money to play around with, you would save a lot by selling those and upgrading now before you eventually blow them and either have to recone them all or by new subs all together.
