I'm getting a SA15 with a ported box in a few weeks i was suggested to go with crescendo 1000C4 4 Channel Amplfier was gonna put 125x2 on comps and the rest on the sub?

Sounds good. Crescendo makes some nice amps. Plus 500watts on a sa15 should get it moving pretty **** good.

Yep I would say it should be more then enough.

I would be running a 1000c4 but they came out like 3 weeks after I had bought my ed9.2.. Funny thing is I paid the same amount for the ed as I could have paid for the c4... I was sick for a few days...

and i think thats what i'm gonna go with... just never had a 15 before and always heard everyone running like 2k watts to a sub before so i'm like eh only 500ish would it really be enough but apparently it will be

Yep 500 is more then enough to get that SA wanging away of course it can take more but you can have a box built to make that 500 push that SA to its max. Bigger the box the more efficient it is thus requiring less power to get to its max potential.
