aq1200d good with...?

would an aq1200d be a good amp for 2 skar 12s? subs would be wired down to 1ohm so 1200 watts pushed to them both...now 1200 at 1 ohm is the amp's rms not max correct?

That amp should go nicely with that pair. In most cases, including this one, an amps rms is not the most it will put out. However it'll be pretty close to that number. Max power means nothing unless you're burping and looking for numbers. For a daily system, continuous power is what matters, and the 1200 or so you'll get continuous out of that amp will be plenty for those subs. Just make sure you build/have built a proper enclosure or it won;t matter what kind of power you send them.
