BBE from older Alpine head units, EQ's, etc..

I've been a fan of BBE back when Alpine was using it in the 90's. I still have an Alpine 3342 Eq that I'm using and it sounds amazing with it on, but crappy when it's off.

I just love the BBE feature. I want to upgrade to maybe a carplay unit, but I'm scared anything else will sound like CRAP without the BBE. Does anyone make BBE unit still? Advice?

You can always buy an older used Alpine in dash EQ with BBE.
