meh, get em used on here.... about $150..... meh?

that is a good option but(this may sound funny)i like to have new subs just to go through the burn/break in of them to see how they change.

call DD if you dont have a dealer near you.

or check classifieds they pop up every now and then. usually when someone posts some there end up being 5 or 10 for sale not long after

svc 1508's $140-$150 new

used $100-$130

dvc $150-$160 new

used $130-$140

add a few bucks if you want the carbon dust cap

in a fart box a single 1508 is capable of a lot more.

just throw about 1800-2000 at it

for tuning id suggest 38hz-42hz

.5ft3 - 1ft3 each

dont go over 1ft3 for each

can fit more subs.... more cone area.....
cone area break down for my class SB3 in usaci.... limited by subwoofer size

x2 - 15" woofers - 383.42 in total cone area

x4 - 12" woofers - 452.40 in total cone area

x8 - 10" woofers - 628.32 in total cone area

x16 - 8" woofers - 804.32 in total cone area

may be off my some.... but overall.... there will be more cone area........ i likey....

yeah ray did a 147 in hid rex with a 1508 and a stetsom 4k2. i did a 146.0 with a kicker L7 8" in my rex with a rd 3250

no how about 16 L7 8s ooppppppppssssssss..................................... me and skip01 will do some test with the L7 8s hopefully this weekend going to use 4 8s on a 40.1 at .5 and see what numbers we get out of them will keep people posted!
