I already have an optima red top under the hood, and i am running two kicker 12" L7's powered by a zx2500, i just bought this battery to keep in the back by the system. I have a couple of questions. Does it come with the terminals and everything i'll need to install it as soon as it gets to my house? If it doesn't, can someone please tell me what parts im going to have to order to be able to install it? I'm probably soundin like a noob but its cuz i've never installed a second battery before. Also won't I have to keep recharging the battery whenever it gets fully discharged from using it up or will it charge up automatically like the one under the hood does? Thanks. BTW heres the link to the auction.

that battery is too small to help safely with a 2500 (its basically the same battery as a kinetik 600) do yourself a favor and get either a kinetik 2000-2400 or if fundage stops that get a group 31 sized deka intimidator (that power needs this size) and it will recharge correctly if you hook it up according to the manual http://www.kinetikaudio.com/manuals/khccells.pdf

that small of a battery will begin to swell over time from getting tanked by that big of an amp.

i did email the guy, he didnt respond, and i cant fit the kinetik in the back of my car, i barely got any room and the batcap 800 is perfect because its so small

Im in the same prediciment and I am wondering if the kinetik 1800 would be able to handle two mrd m605's or would that battery be overkill as a secondary bat?

smallest i would go is two kinetik 800's and that is pushing it (2 times as wide as a 600 kinetik or 800 battcap) within a few months that batcap will be round and getting ready to pop which isnt safe flat out being honest if you do that be willing to keep an eye on it....that type of battery is good for 600-800 watts over the long haul that 2500 is no joke

1400 or 1800 would both work well 1800 would be nice if you up grade. be sure you do the big 3 wire up grade and use 0 ga between the batteries

I'm getting some 1/0 to do the run and big 3 with so that should be covered. and would it honestly be worth the extra money steping up from the 1400 or no??

the 1800 for sure would give you plenty of power and give you overhead room for upgrade, and the 1800 will insure you get the power needed so your amp can run at full potential, an you would have more power in reserve.
