Basslink II Question

I want to buy a Basslink to my 2003 Mercury Marauder (Crown Vic/Grand Marq). The potential problem I may have is the fact that my trunk is made up of four plastic compartments. Looking at the instruction booklet and pics of the Basslink, it requires that I screw it down into the trunk. Since my trunk is plastic, I do not think this will work in my car. Am I safe to assume this? If itcan not be screwed into the plastic, what other options do I have?

Also, how would the Basslink II compare to this Bazzoka...

Please note that it is not the traditional amplified subwoofer that you would expect? I plan on keeping my factory deck and speakers, and I do not want a permanent setup for my lows. Please keep in mind that my car is large.

If I go with the Basslink, I want to add the optional 4-channel module. Alot of people say that the module will not make a big difference in sound for my highs compared to my factory deck. Is this accurate?

Hook and loop tape AKA Velcro. The Marauder has a big trunk, im shure you dont even need to secure it

The bazooka tube is complete garbage. I have not heard the Basslink II but the Basslink I totally kills the bazooka tube for output and clarity.

The module will probably make 0 difference and cost you money you dont need to spend.

Since you have a Grand Marquis, you know what I mean about the plastic trunk huh...

Another concern...

Upon researching on the internet, it seems like the amp on these Basslinks tend to go out. And since it is intergrated, it pretty much ruins the whole system. Is this something that I should seriously consider?

One more thing. I have never heard a Basslink. How would it sound compared to a seperate amp pushing about 200 RMS and 10 sub in a ported box?

The basslinks sound really good. my friend had one in his truck and it sounds great, its a good choice if ur not willing to do a seperate box/amp combo and dont have very much space.
