Bass went out but amp still on

Bumpstill need help guys ! Any one know which setting I use for a dmm? To test out power and voltage of amp ???

Set it to AC.

If your amp is putting out the proper voltage, that you tested with the multimeter, then you probably killed your sub.

Ok guys changed aux cables, changed fuse in the front , still subwoffer sound distorted

Nobody's asked why he has that capacitor??

Get rid of it....it's un-needed. If you have the big 3 done, and perhaps a better battery later on down the road if you don't have one now, the cap is worthless.

Could also be reversed polarity of your sub wiring.

Just SAY NO to capacitor...there are videos that show voltage is lower with capacitor vs no capacitor

I thought he said he took the capacitor back out. I dunno, it's a little hard to follow.

I don't know if English is OP's first language but this is indeed hard to follow. When there's such a gap in communication I really hate to get involved.
