Ive always used a basscube before now. I dont wanna use it to turn the **** up. I wanna use it to turn the bass down on some songs. So I plug it in. Turn the bass knob to 100%. Set my gains. Im good?

Sounds like **** that way,.. I left it unplugged and Ill get another basscube later on I guess.

what do you mean sounds like *****? I have a knob installed on my sub amp that controls the gain setting and it sound the exact same hooked or unhooked the only difference being I don't have to go through my Hu settings to adjust output, check all your wiring there shouldn't be a sound difference.
