i thnk hifonics knobs are gain/level adjustment. Atleas that's what i was told. Don't knw much about kenwood amps. Just don't use the knob period and set the gains correctly. If you really want the bass knob, then set the gains first, then plugin the knob.

thats what im gonna do, the only reason i would use it would be if it controlled the gains but i guess its only for bass boost.

The remote knob for my Kenwood KAC-9152D is a bass-boost. I have it connected but turned all the way down.

I like it for the price. Runs cool, sounds fine.
