Bass Knob, and Meter

the amp im looking at doesnt come with a bass boost knob, would you recomend me getting one? i know its a hassle turning the bass up and down on the amp but why can i just do that with my HU?

and a meter for my amp, would you recomend it? so i can tell temp and stuff?

you can find universal remote knobs that go inline with the rca coming from the hu and before the amp. they work just as great.

as far as the meter. I personally like it. I'm not sure what the temp detecting lead is like but I'd stick it near the voice coil to get a temp readout of that.

a remote gain knob is handy. but anything that is "bass boost" is a big nono. bass boost is never a good thing and should be turned all the way down always.

i have the meters you are talking about.they look cool but you really cant read them since the increments are so small.like you said,its good for fill in and pretty cheap price.
