When I started looking at aftermarket solutions, the iDA-X100 stood alone with it's 2.2" LCD display, album art capability, wheel control, Bluetooth capability as well as satellite and HD capability if desired. I haven't had a CD in my car in years so not having a CD player wasn't an issue for me (even though I can connect a changer if needed so no lock out there). I use Tom Tom navigation when needed so didn't care if there was no navigation capability and didn't want video either - so the X100 was perfect for my needs; great digital iPod/iPhone integration and Bluetooth hands-free with the iPhone.

it doesn't specify that you can or cannot connect the blackbird to my idax100, and someone on here has to have tried it. help me out

dumbass. rtfm and tell me where it says that it is compatible with the blackbird. just because it does not specifically list the blackbird as not being compatible does not mean it will work. they do not list the alternator from a corvette as not being compatible with the engine in a porsche but common sense, of which you have none, tells you that they won't work.
