Bass cuts our after certain volume...help plz

my limit on my head unit is 50 as soon as i turn it above like 40 onwards the bass cuts out and stops workin

i was wondering why this happens???

Get a multimeter and check your voltages at the amp when your bass hits. I will venture a guess you are dropping below 10.5v

What amp are you running, and what electrical do you have backing it?

whats your amp wired down to as for as ohms? amp model, and suboofer model(s) , are the SVC 4, SVC 2, DVC 4, DVC 2, ect
