bass blockers????

my cdt comps seem like they are getting overloaded with bass, to the point that i think the may blow. what should i do to stop this

If they are on that 450/4 I suggest raising the HP to "block" some of the bass.

wherever it is now raise it to 80-90hz. (keep in mind you may have to adjust your subwoofer amp's LP to around the same value)

also check to make sure the amp is on HP

If your amp for your your highs doesnt have a hp filter you can use some Fmods but I have experienced some signal loss with them

im not runnin them off the jl and yea the amps on highpass and i have the hp turned up around 150-200

Do you have any bass boost on that amp? if so turn that down and also mess with the gains a bit to see if that will help. I don't know what if your deck have a loud button but, if you do don't use it...
