Basic Question about kicker1500.1

On the kicker zx1500.1 there is a variable crossover that goes 50hz to 200hz.

I do not want to use that crossover and want to use the crossover in my headunit (80 hz LPF).

So what should I set the crossover on the amp to since I want the head unit to be my main crossover???

Should yes. The head unit will not allow anything over 80hz to pass.
