anybody other than a progressive would do better. they can try to mask liberalism with quick wit and smooth grammar all they want, but the progressive idea is inherently flawed and has never worked. human nature prevents liberalism and marxist tendencies from working. we're creating some kind of fascist banana republic, which is just another offshoot in a long line of failed socialistic empires.
you would really rather have biden run things than palin? i'm not a palin fan, but biden would be able to get far more of his stupid ideas through than palin. in fairness though, if congress was majority republican, then i'd want biden. none of these people are worth a crap. progressive or progressive light is not much of a choice.
not many people can look at things that way. we live in a world of left against right. people will defend their side no matter how bad it is. the amazing thing is the odd similarity obama policies are to bush policies. other than a few executive orders to appease a part of his base, his fiscal policy is bush x 10, we are not going to leave the middle east, the border will still be pourous, the biggest corporations in the world will still get our money, and the federal reserve still runs the show.
Yah I would, Palin is beyond dumb, what little respect the rest of the world still has for the USA, and I'm guessing its not a lot, she would take away. People thought Bush was a ****ing retarded cowboy but at least he didn't shot animals from helicopters.
mccain would have sucked too. in face, obama and the dems are using a mccain health care idea, taxing it, which obama tore him up on in the debates. and he was right, but he is now doing that very thing. cap and trade is the biggest tax hike in american history, from a guy who vowed not to raise taxes. he announces an eventual retreat from iraz, only to add 17000 troops in afghanistan, which i agree with, but goes against his campaign rhetoric. they write 1300 page bills, then rush a vote through before anyone gets to read it. he fires the CEO of GM, which is not the governments place in the least. he tears up AIG executives contracts, which is one of the biggest constitutional violations in recent memory, although it could be argued that the patriot act from bush was worse (but bush is no longer president). they are bailing out states, which is taxation without representation, and they are siezing 20% of the economy with the eventual take over of health care. we've always been on a slow march towards socialism, ever since we started dicking with the economy in the 20's, but it's a full on sprint now. bush and obama are like relay runners. bush handed the progressive baton to obama, who is faster than bush.
from a political standpoint, biden has made far more blunders and stupid comments, but since palin is republican, anything bad about her will drown out the stupidity coming from your own team. they would both ****. you missed my point completely. i guess political strategy isn't your strong point.
