yea. i got these subs before i found this forum and began to get educated. lol. but after i built them a box they actually sounded decent compared to how they sounded in a prefab

If I had a dollar for every time Ive heard that lol. Back in 06 when type rs came out I loved them but now they when I listen to them they sound so bad I dont know what I was thinking. Just built a box for friend not even 3 days ago and after we got everything hooked up I was ehhh. Friend loves it. Good to see your upgrading and not giving up. I ve heard alot of Im giving car audio up lately.

yea. i made the mistake of buying before educating myself. but im buying an splaudio built 15 and build it a box and give it 2k. get them lows that the type rs cant.

a pair of cerwin vega vmax12 maybe? not to many people running them and they are damned good for what they cost
